New venue, new categories, new format – M&M Global Awards 2018

After spending time speaking to the industry over the last sxi months the M&M Global Awards are open for entries today with a new look, new categories and a new venue.

To fully represent what is happening in media and marketing in 2018 the categories will look to celebrate the work from a number of key sectors ranging from automotive and beauty to travel and FMCG.

The awards will also, for the first time in 29 years, remove the stipulation of the campaigns having to run in more than two different countries as the number of true international campaigns are dwindling in this new world of media and marketing.

‘The M&M Global Awards have been around for nearly 30 years and the media and marketing landscape has changed considerably in that time, and in 2018 we want the awards to represent the new world of disruption, convergence and consolidation,” explains Christina Liessem, head of awards, M&M Global.

It will also feature categories including Tech Transparency; Best Campaign Created by an Inclusive Team; Content Curator of the Year; Best Campaign led by Ambient or OOH Media; Best Campaign led by PR and Best Campaign led by Media.

It will also feature regulars such as The Effectiveness Award, Best Communications Strategy and Best Partnership Award, while Best International Campaign will continue to honour those campaigns that have been run in two or more different countries.

The new look categories will also include special awards for Best Advertiser, Best Media Agency, Best PR Agency and Best Event Agency.
