Microsoft has named Jolaine Boyd as its new chief marketing officer for Asia Pacific, working from Singapore.
Boyd, who previously worked as head of marketing for Microsoft Mobile Devices in the region, spent over three years with Nokia, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2014. Prior to that, she led digital marketing at Telstra and spent time as an account director at DDB.
According to a statement by Microsoft, Boyd will be responsible for telling the company’s story in compelling and immersive ways across all platforms, and providing customers with content and tools for the digital era.
“The Asia Pacific region has some of the most dynamic markets in the world which is transforming the way we do marketing, especially in this mobile-first, cloud-first world,” Boyd said. “I look forward to helping people and businesses here unlock their potential and achieve more with the right tools.”
