Marco Bertozzi departs Publicis for Spotify08.12.2016
Marco Bertozzo, global chief revenue officer at Publicis-owned performance marketing agency Performics, is moving to Spotify to become head of sales for Europe.
Bertozzi, who will be based in London, will take up the role in the New Year.
“This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for me to join a company that is working at the intersection of data, tech and incredible content,” Bertozzi said. “Spotify is a leader in its space and I am looking forward to joining in the New Year.”
Spotify global head of ad sales Brian Benedik added that he was very excited to welcome Bertozzi to “the Spotify family”.
“Marco has a great wealth of expertise and insights gained over many years in the agency world, and we’re looking forward to him bringing his fresh perspective to the European business.”
In the last few months, Spotify has partnered with Rubicon Project to automate audio ad inventory and AppNexus to enable programmatic buying across the global audio inventory.
