Mexican minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu and Havas boss Yannick Bollore to speak at FOMLA 201624.08.2016
Mexico’s secretary of foreign affairs Claudia Ruiz Massieu and Havas chairman and chief executive officer Yannick Bollore lead the speaker line-up for this year’s Festival of Media LatAm in Miami.
The top diplomat will open the festival with a session on the important relationships between Mexico and Latin America, followed by a fireside chat by Havas boss Bollore on the current agency network structure in the fragmented media landscape.
Jenelle Tilling, chief marketing officer for KFC-owner Yum! Brands, will discuss the need for speed and cutting through noise in the rapid paced world of fast food, with a panel later in the day featuring IAB Mexico’s Jesús Benitez, Banamex’ Ernesto Nava y Lara and Coca Cola Media House Alejandro Castillo on the best ways to use mobile advertising in the region.
Day two features Facebook North America marketing director Michelle Klein talking about the challenges and insights from live video, Dentsu Aegis’ Claudia Colaferro discussing what it means to be a prominent leader in the LatAm market and a panel featuring AOL head of Americas Joe Strolz and MediaMath chief marketing officer Joanna O’Connell discussing programmatic’s media takeover.
Influencer Gina Ybarra will receive a live brand brief on stage which she will then read and dissect as part of a panel on how brand influencer partnerships can be heightened. There will also be a presentation uncovering the almost untouched media hub of Cuba with Local Planet’s Manuel de la Rica, and Maria Givens from LVMH will discuss the social conundrum of the luxury market in a fireside chat.
Founder partner Teads will provide a keynote on measurement of video engagement, and Telefonica’s Dan Rosen will discuss the key drivers of ad context. Clear Channel and Millward Brown will also provide keynotes on digitalisation with OOH and the ROI of video ad campaigns respectively.
